During the initial consultation, we will discuss what prompted you to seek therapy. We will explore what you would like to gain from therapy. I will suggest a possible way of working together. You will get a chance to ask questions and share any concerns.

Individual therapy takes place once a week at the same time and place. It can be either:

• short-term – usually 6 to 12 sessions – more structured and focused on solving the identified problem or situation or

• long-term – lasting for several months and sometimes even a few years.
